Gangs of youths have been congregating in large numbers and wreaking havoc in the local area,” Deputy O’Dea explained.Sign up for the weekly Limerick Post newsletter Sign Up “Following my representations, the council has agreed to block up of the laneway between High Road and Canon Breen Park, known as Gloster’s Lane. Anti-social behaviour has been prevalent at this location and the decision to extinguish the public right of way is in line with the wishes of local residents.”The Council have also installed a CCTV camera in Canon Breen Park which Deputy O’Dea believes, will help Gardaí identify the culprits.
