POLICE LOG for June 5 12 Unlocked Vehicles Entered Overnight On Avalon


first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, June 5, 2019:An Avalon Drive caller believed someone went through his truck overnight, but he had to leave for work. Police responded and located 11 additional vehicles that appeared to have been rummaged through. An emptied wallet was found with no cash or credit cards. A handful of items found outside vehicles were taken to the station and logged. (3:49am)——–An Andover Street caller reported someone excavated onto his property. He’d like a no trespass order delivered. (6:55am) Police later issued a no trespass order. (8:42am)Fire Department responded to smoldering mulch in front of CVS. (10:52am)Animal Control Officer removed an injured gopher from Deming Way and brought to Tufts Veterinary Hospital. (11:15am)A caller reported her car was entered overnight at Avalon Oaks. The door was left unlocked. Nothing appeared to be taken. Vehicle was being borrowed from her nephew. (4:14pm)A Main Street caller reported 2 male parties were on her property, possibly trying to break into their utility trailer. Individuals took off towards Silver Lake area. Homeowner doesn’t believe anything was taken, but noted it was the second consecutive night they heard people in their yard. Police advised homeowner to call police if they hear people in their yard. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate anyone.
